Devoting a little time to organizing and arranging the songs on your i Pod helps you take advantage of its full capabilities.Use Apple's i Tunes software, which is available for both Mac and PC, to organize the songs on your i Pod. The i Pod will create separate categories for different spellings and capitalization.As of 2011, there are four i Pod models, some with extra features beyond just listening to music.The i Pod Classic, i Pod Nano and i Pod Touch come with video capabilities, but the i Pod Shuffle does not.Click the "Music" link just under your i Pod to access your music library.Find the songs you want to change, then hold the "Shift" key and select the first song, then the last song in the list and hold the "Command" and "I" keys to open the "Get Info" panel.You can view the music in your Library by Songs, Albums, Artists, Playlists, Music Videos, Genres, Compilations, Composers, TV & Movies, and Downloaded Music.
You can also add songs that you like to your Library. Use the Search tab to find songs, albums, artists, playlists, radio stations, TV shows, movies, and more in your Library or the Apple Music catalog.If you have some songs listed under "rock," others under "Rock" and more under "Rock n' Roll," you will end up with three separate choices when looking under the "Genre" section of your i Pod.To edit song information for multiple songs, open i Tunes on your computer and click the gray arrow next to the device icon for your i Pod, located in the left menu bar.If you don't subscribe to Apple Music, you can sync your music manually using i Tunes.On your i Phone, i Pad, and i Pod touch, the tabs at the bottom of the Music app help you discover and play content in different ways.
